Our eco-friendly stone paper is composed of 75% calcium carbonate and 25% binding agents, such as resin and polyethylene. This unique composition gives the paper exceptional properties. Its production is more environmentally friendly because it does not require tree cutting or water consumption, unlike traditional paper made from cellulose. The calcium in the paper makes its surface naturally white, smooth, and velvety to the touch. A significant feature of stone paper is its high resistance to tearing and moisture. Even if the paper is spilled with tea or water, the notes do not smudge, and the paper remains suitable for writing. Additionally, from an environmental perspective, one ton of stone paper saves 17 trees, 34 liters of water, 75 kg of pollutants, 19 kg of waste, and 477.5 kW of energy! The production of stone paper is entirely eco-friendly—wood and water are not needed. Furthermore, the paper undergoes photodegradation.
